日本だけじゃなく、世界的に”ストライキ”が減ってるという海外の研究結果 【海外の反応】

世界的にストライキが減ってる

単発の”労働争議”は絶えず発生しているが、この50年でみると減少傾向にある。
原因としては「労働市場の自由化・脱工業化・グローバリゼーションの長期的影響」等が考えられている。
この”労働争議の現象”は、1970年から2018年まで「日本・韓国・スウェーデン・米国・英国」いずれにおいても観測することができる。

これはただの減少じゃない。社会的・政治的な抗議が減っているのと同じ理由だ。
殆どの人はその日暮らしで、誰も時間がない。なので政治家は好き勝手できるんだ。

↑何十年にも渡って、メディアが隣人を疑うよう助長したことも一因だと思う。
「誰もがあなたの子供を誘拐する可能性があります！」って。

皆が閉鎖的で、他人を信用していない。コミュニティを育む余地はないんだ。

私達の祖父母は定期的にストライキを行い、組合を持っていたよね。

資本主義とはそういうものです。
労働者が十分な資本を手に入れ、一度は賃金奴隷から脱したとしても、
またいつの間にか奴隷に戻ろうとしてしまう。

↑はは、全ては労働者の責任というかな？

↑実際、自分が損をする方に票を入れる労働者には、責任があると思う。

私達の祖父母には、もっと強力な組合があった。
昔は組合が一斉にストライキを起こすことができたけど、
今は法律上許されないし、それを破った組合は国から解散するように命じられる。

アメリカとカナダの黄金時代は終わった。
今、生活環境は徐々に悪化している。

ベビーブーム世代より和解世代は、親世代より贅沢ができないことを自覚しているだろう。

↑団塊の世代とその親達が、50年間保守派に投票し続けたせいだよね。
私達の世代がツケを払うんだ。

↑例え「黄金時代」が続いていたとしても、
その「黄金時代」は第三世界の労働者がもたらしたものだよ。

私たちは、より残酷ではない生産様式を構築する必要がある。

特にアメリカだと、健康保険は会社に入れてもらうしか無い。
もし失業したら、貯金はあったとしても健康保険を失う。
だから事故にあった瞬間破産するんだ。

↑その通り。
扶養家族がいる人にとって、健康保険を失うことは恐怖でしか無い。

↑保険に加入していても、事故に遭えば破産するけどね。
少なくとも、返し終わるのに10年はかかる借金を背負う。

↑ええ、私は会社を通じて健康保険に入っていましたが、
それでも昨年は病院に12,000ドル（150万円）を支払いました。

↑破産者の多くは、保険に加入している。
入っていても入っていなくても関係ないよ。

私の組合は、20%の賃下げを告知されたあと、法律で仕事に戻るよう命令された。
多くの同僚は従順な奴隷のように仕事に戻った。

私はうつ病と診断された。

今のイギリスは違う。
去年の夏からストライキフィーバーだ。春にはゼネストも計画されている。

※ゼネスト…ゼネラル・ストライキ：１企業や組織ではなく、全国的で一斉に行うストライキ

↑長い間、このストライキを待っていました。
どんどんやってください。賃金はあまりにも長い間、インフレに遅れをとっている。

  2. I do like the way you have framed this specific issue and it really does present me a lot of fodder for thought. Nevertheless, because of everything that I have observed, I simply just trust when the actual commentary pack on that men and women keep on point and don’t start on a tirade of the news of the day. Still, thank you for this outstanding piece and while I can not necessarily go along with it in totality, I regard the viewpoint.
